Terms and Conditions
Processing your data:
As part of our terms and conditions you are agreeing for Tpas to use your data to fulfil your transaction. We will acquire your data when you download an ebook, book onto a course or event or joining our membership network through our website (www.tpas.org.uk). We will keep this data secure and will not share it to any third parties for marketing purposes. We will only use this data to processing your transaction with us such as raising an invoice, sending joining instructions, contacting you in case of queries or ensuring we cater to your dietary requirements.
When collecting and using personal data, our policy is to be as transparent about why and how we process personal data. If you have any specific processing questions please do not hesitate to get in touch
At the time of agreeing to our terms and conditions you will also have the opportunity to subscribe to our mailing lists and unsubscribe from them at any time. You will not be added to our mailing list without your consent and express permission. More information is available in our Privacy Policy
Booking onto a course or event:
If you require more than 4 places for one of our courses it often works out better value if we deliver this to you ‘in-house’, please contact the Training Department on 0161 8683520 if you think this is the case.
We will receive confirmation of your booking within 7 working days of receiving your online booking.
We will send you further information including a map approximately 7-10 days before the start of the course.
Cancellation policy
All cancellations must be made in writing – email is acceptable If you cancel your place:
- More than 28 working days before the course or event we will charge you an admin fee of £50.00 + VAT for each delegate place
- Less than 28 working days before the course or event you will incur the full cost.
If you are unable to attend, you can send a substitute delegate at no extra cost. All substitute delegates must be notified to Tpas in writing.
Once we have received your cancellation in writing we will forward you a confirmation of your cancellation detailing what you will be charged.
Tpas right to cancel
We aim to make sure that the courses and events run as planned. However, there may be times when, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have to cancel the course or event. Should this be the case we will give you as much notice as possible. If you have already paid for the cancelled course or event we will transfer your booking to a rescheduled date or give you a full refund if this option is not possible. Should we run the course or event again, we will give you priority. We are unable to reimburse any expenses you may incur as a result of cancelled courses or events.
Quality
We aim to provide good quality courses and events, ran by experienced and qualified trainers in accessible and comfortable venues. Should you be dissatisfied with the course or event please contact us to discuss your concerns.

Help us to help you
We recognise that we may need to offer some participants extra support to ensure that everyone gets the most from the course or event. Please let us know in as much detail as possible, any kind of help you may need. Let us know if you need to bring a carer with you or if you require particular access. Also, let us know if you have any particular dietary requirements. We will do our best to meet your needs.
Code of conduct
Events:
To ensure Tpas events are conducted in a suitable environment, Tpas reserves the right to ask an individual to leave an event if they are causing distress to another delegate. This relates to all forms of harassment including racial, sexual, verbal or physical. Should any problems occur, please bring them to the attention of the facilitator as soon as possible.
Membership online forum - Tpas Connect:
Tpas Connect is available to Tpas members with an online account. This is a digital space tenant and housing staff members can use to discuss and share advice relating to engagement good practice. Tpas does not undertake real time monitoring of every discussion but we will endeavour to remove a post which is reported as being abusive, using bad language, defamatory or personal attacks. This list is not exhaustive and we reserve the right to remove posts after evaluating each incident on a case by case basis.
