Join the Housing Ombudsman Resident Panel
Friday 15th of March 2024
The Housing Ombudsman is inviting social housing residents to join their Resident Panel and actively contribute to enhancing residents' quality of life through landlord services.
Panel members will engage in regular meetings and virtual discussions with the Ombudsman, where they can share their experiences and propose enhancements. Additionally, residents will participate in surveys to provide feedback on consultations, ensuring their voices remain central to the Ombudsman's initiatives. They will also gain insights into the Ombudsman's role and ways to disseminate information about its activities within their local communities.
The current panel, appointed in March 2021 for a three-year term, has been instrumental in providing feedback on key initiatives such as the Complaint Handling Code, annual business plans, and various projects aimed at enhancing accessibility and awareness of the Ombudsman's services.
This is a great opportunity for residents to play a vital role in realizing the Ombudsman's vision of fostering a positive complaint handling culture across the sector while ensuring residents' perspectives are actively heard.
Deadlin is 30th April 2024
