Tpas and the Local Government Association launch new best practice survey

Tpas have been appointed to work in partnership with the Local Government Association (LGA) in order to identify and share good practice in tenant engagement nationally with findings of good practice drawn from Councils in England.
LGA and Tpas are united in their ambition to make sure tenants are at the heart of council owned housing and that now is a critical and unique time to have a direct influence into the Social Housing Green Paper that could shape an offer for tenants for years to come.
Engagement is changing at pace within organisations and across the sector. The pressures of welfare reform, regulation, supply, affordability, stigma, isolation and value for money, amongst others, will all have an impact on how organisations can and could deliver successful engagement in the future.
This piece of work between Tpas and the LGA has the potential to be really forward thinking, creative and innovative about where engagement could go in the future.
