Peabody chair and former civil service head Lord Kerslake dies aged 68

Peabody has paid tribute to its chair Lord Kerslake, a champion of local government and former head of the civil service, who died over the weekend after “a short battle” with cancer.
Tpas are saddened to hear the news about Lord Kerslake. Bob was a hugely impressive and influential supporter of social housing and in all our conversations with him it was clear to us that he genuinely wanted to do more for tenants across England. So sad that he has been taken so young. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in Peace.
