Tpas is excited to partner with The Healthy Homes Hub on the innovative Warm Rents Project, and we’d love your input!

Join us for this webinar to share your thoughts on how we can encourage more tenants from selected landlords to participate in Phase 2 of this pioneering initiative.

We’re particularly keen to hear from you about:

• Messaging that reassures tenants before, during, and after the project.
• What would motivate you to sign up for such a pilot.

What is Warm Rents?
The Warm Rents project, powered by Switchee, ensures a minimum indoor temperature in social housing, aiming to:
• Improve health outcomes and mental wellbeing.
• Enhance housing quality.
• Promote energy efficiency in homes.

This unique approach funds heating up to 18°C during the day and 16°C at night, over a set period in time, with Year 1 involving 130 homes and Year 2 scaling to 250 homes.

Why Warm Rents Matters:
• Data shows 10% of social housing residents keep indoor temperatures dangerously low (8–11°C), leading to severe health and housing issues.
• Inspired by successful Swedish models, this initiative could help eliminate fuel poverty, reduce damp and mould, and create a path for UK landlords to align energy efficiency upgrades with cost savings.
• Ultimately, it aims to enhance residents’ lives, improve housing standards, and support Net Zero goals.

Please note: This is not an offer to all tenants to be a part of this pilot. Landlords participating in the pilot will work directly with their tenants, but your feedback on how to shape this program is vital.
