Engaging Communities Conference - Mini
The Conference for Engagement Professionals
The only national conference bringing engagement professionals together, to develop, learn and network is back on the 16th March 2022 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Nottingham.
This year it’s different - not quite the programme we normally put on at Engaging Communities, but we, like you are itching to get back together and get talking face to face again.
About the day
So, it’s a one day, relaxed and informal event, with a big focus on giving you the time and space to reconnect with each other.
To celebrate the return of our first in-person conference event for three years, and to say a big thank you to all our valued members for your support over the past two years, we are delighted to be able to offer a special one-off 2022 conference price of just £99 (plus VAT) for our professional members. The non-member price is £225 (plus VAT)
The day will include insightful and thought-provoking speakers from across housing organisations and sector stakeholders, as well as our “engagement lounges” offering you a supportive, solution focussed space to tackle some of the key issues and challenges facing engagement professionals like you today.
You’ll have the chance to attend one morning lounge and one afternoon lounge.
About the sessions
Morning Lounges
- Impact Lounge – How can I capture, measure, and demonstrate the value of engagement?
- Culture Lounge (runs both am and pm) – How can I encourage colleagues to make engagement their business too, and how can I ensure it’s part of our organisational culture?
- Digital Engagement Lounge– What tools and techniques can I use to keep digital engagement exciting and fresh?
Afternoon Lounges
- Culture Lounge (runs both am and pm) – How can I encourage colleagues to make engagement their business too, and how can I ensure it’s part of our organisational culture?
- Inclusivity Lounge – How can I maximise engagement techniques to get more residents involved? How can I hear diverse voices and experiences and reach residents outside the formal engagement structure?
- Scrutiny Lounge – how can I make our reviews task based and outcome focused?
We’ll then wrap up the day, all back together again with our Wellbeing session.
Enjoy a brew while we reflect on the unique role of being an engagement professional, and explore how you can maintain a positive mindset and develop the resilience needed to work successfully in engagement in 2022 and beyond.
