Local Authority/ALMO Staff Member Meet Up

Join our LA and ALMO staff member network, this has been set up to facilitate peer to peer support and learning amongst LA/ALMO’s staff. 

There will be quarterley online meet ups and the group will have a dedicated online networking group on Tpas connect.

The session will be held on Zoom on Thursday 20th April 2023 at 11am.

Working with councillors

Whether in an executive, scrutiny or ward role, councillors are key players in tenant engagement. But what difference might councillors make, how can engagement officers work well with councillors and what does it look like when things go well? These questions, and many more, will be the focus of our next meet up.

This will be an interactive session that will give you a chance to network, hear what others are doing and find new things to try.

We will be joined for a ‘fishbowl style’ interview with Jim Millard from London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

This will give you a chance to hear about the issues from a councillor perspective, ask questions and share your takeaways.

At the end we’ll open it for any contributions to the whole group.

We’ll collect the useful ideas throughout the session and share them back to give you new ideas and inspiration! We’ll also share a video of the fishbowl.
