Local Authority/ALMO Staff Member Meet Up

Join our LA and ALMO staff member network, this has been set up to facilitate peer to peer support and learning amongst LA/ALMO’s staff. 

There will be quarterley online meet ups and the group will have a dedicated online networking group on Tpas connect.

The session will be held on Zoom on Tuesday 21st January 2025 at 11am.

'Ask the Regulator Special'

Kick off 2025 by joining our first Local Authority & ALMO Member Meet-Up of the year! This “Ask the Regulator Special” is a unique opportunity to engage in an open and honest Q&A session with the regulator, providing clarity on the key issues and challenges facing the sector.

The meet-up will be facilitated by Dr. Dave McKenna, whose engaging and interactive style will ensure a lively, productive discussion and that all your questions are heard. Whether you’re seeking clarity on compliance or practical guidance on what the regulator expects from Local Authorities and ALMOs in the months ahead, this is the perfect forum to get the answers you need.

The first part of the session will be an opportunity to hear from, and put questions to, the regulator. Following this, small group networking sessions will allow participants to discuss what they have heard and identify practical advice they can take back to their organisations and top tips that can be shared more widely. A final open session will give participants the opportunity to share any final thoughts with the whole group or raise any other issues.
